As Entrepreneur-In-Residence at Venture First, Jeff is adapting our innovative business solutions and strategies to tackle complex problems within the social impact sector. He is applying our talented entrepreneurial bullpen to explore new ways to provide leading analytics and advisory services to non-profit organizations.
Jeff has over 20 years of leadership experience designing, developing and administering services within the non-profit, behavioral and mental health treatment fields. At the Home of the Innocents, he established one of Kentucky’s largest in-home treatment programs for child victims of abuse and youth with developmental disabilities.
For eight years he served as the Chief Executive Officer for Boys and Girls Haven, one of the Kentucky’s premier providers of mental health treatment services for children in the child welfare system. During that time, Jeff became a public policy advocate, operational strategist and change agent for issues affecting funding within the health care industry.
eff brings to our team his extensive executive leadership experience and knowledge in financial management, integrated operational strategies, fund development, new venture planning, corporate finance, and capital structures. Jeff earned his Bachelor of Science in both Political Economics and Psychology from Centre College. With the business management principles he developed in his Entrepreneurship MBA from the University of Louisville, he will help to affect lasting change via innovative companies and organizations.
