His expertise spans a broad range of valuation services, specializing in private company valuations and financial reporting-related valuation analysis. Throughout his career, he has developed deep insights into complex financial structures, business valuation, and key reporting areas such as employee stock option valuation (IRC 409A), purchase price allocation (ASC 805), goodwill impairment (ASC 350), derivative valuations, ASC 718 (Share-based Payments), and Gift and Estate Tax Valuations.
Having worked with leading organizations in the valuation space, Tarun was an integral part of Deloitte’s Valuation Services team in India and the Valuation and Advisory team at Aranca. In these roles, he delivered high-quality financial analyses to clients across diverse sectors, enabling them to make informed business decisions based on accurate valuation insights.
Tarun’s technical acumen is complemented by his educational background. He holds an MBA in Finance from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Pune, a prestigious institution under Symbiosis International University. His undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science, which provides him with a strong analytical foundation and technical perspective to assess complex financial models.
Currently, Tarun is a Level 3 candidate in the CFA Program, USA, and continues to deepen his knowledge in investment management and financial analysis.
