Vik Chadha is the founder and CEO of Scalable Ventures, a firm investing in and creating innovative software products. Prior to this, he was the co-founder of two successful high-tech companies — Backupify and GlowTouch Technologies. In aggregate, these companies employ 2,500 people globally.
He is a General Partner at Unbridled Ventures, an Investment Advisory Partner at Poplar Ventures and is a member of the Industry Advisory Board of the Computer Science and Engineering Department at the University of Louisville.
From 2001 to 2010, he served as a Managing Director of the EnterpriseCorp in Louisville, where he managed a portfolio of over 100 client companies and helped them raise $120 million in funding. Prior to EnterpriseCorp, he worked as the Entrepreneur-in-Residence at bCatalyst, an early-stage business incubator. He began his career at GE Appliances, where he was a founding member of their Internet team in 1995.
Vik holds a B.S. degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology and has an M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
He resides in Louisville, Kentucky with his wife and two daughters.
